Friendly people who don't know what they doing. We brought our vehicle in to have our A/C fixed, they said it was the evaporator they replaced it and charged a boatload for doing it. It was dead again in under 6 months. We took it back, this time it was a Schrader valve and more money. It failed in less than a day. Back again and now it was everything else compressor, condenser, lines, ect and no promises. We were done with the incompetent guessing and took it another shop the next day, it was the high pressure line, cheap and done in a day plus best of all icy cold ever since. The guys at Auto-Spec were useless and a waste of time and money. It is clear they had no idea how to even diagnose the problem let alone fix it and never should have said they could.

At Auto-Spec we stand behind all our work and diagnosis. I wanted to reach out and see if we could make this right. However I do not find your name in our data. I also can not find any work orders with the description of the work you described. Efficient, professional, and kind service. We've had several problems fixed across multiple vehicles since moving here and they've done high quality work with a great attitude. We've asked them for advice on problems and they've given us straight, solid advice, even when it meant losing money. We've been really happy with these guys! 3rd year working with Auto spec and they just get better every year.

Very disappointed on the service from Jim. When I called in I told Jim what was going on. After reading about the problem online I came to the conclusion my transmission fluid needed to be Drained and replaced. Jim then told that that could ruin my transmission and I just needed to bring the car in. 4 days later, Jim came to the same conclusion. He never got authorization from me to proceed. When I finally got an update I was told that the work had already been done and it was going to cost $289. Then when I got there to pick up my car I was told that they had to put gas in my car and that would be an additional $20!!! What?!? My car takes premium gas, hope they know that. If they would of called I could have told them that. Not only was there absolutely no communication, no discussion on cost and services were completed without my permission! The gentleman that drives the shuttle is super though!

Heather, I am very sorry that we did not meet your expectations and for the lack of communication. Our policy is to not complete repairs without authorization however there are some issues that require a more lengthy diagnostic process and the repairs are actually completed during that process. As a business that has to warranty our work we understandably cannot stand behind internet diagnostics. There was some concern that the shudder could have been an engine misfire or a transmission problem. We did need to test drive the vehicle a few times to confirm the issue as well as the fix. We did have to add some premium fuel to complete the process. I will pass along the thumbs up to Bob or shuttle driver.
