I have used John Long's Automotive (Georgetown) about every ~2-years since they opened when I don't have time to perform a task myself. I have always been happy with their service. Today I had to deal with them for a warranty item that was not resolved directly by them due to I was 200 miles away. When I told them of the issue and the situation why I could not take it back to them they stepped up and resolved it (financially) to my complete satisfaction. This is how a business builds relationships as opposed to being a transactional business. Glad I started using them many years ago. This incident only re-enforced my continued use of them in the future.

After several years of "shopping around" with various mechanics in Round Rock, we tried JC Automotive Specialists and, for the past 7 years, have not gone anywhere else. These guys are professional, extremely honest about what you do and don't need, and are very reasonably priced for the high quality of work they provide. I've taken my Miata to Auto Spec for around 8 years, and they've been nothing but great through numerous repairs and maintenance. Just recently had a new top installed, and to my delight, they also fixed a loose door panel, with no extra charge, and in general as usual, got the car tightened up in details that just made it a more solid result. Ray and Mike have always been extremely nice, and go out of there way to find hard to find parts on a budget, etc. I highly recommend them if you have a Miata you want to be serviced with peace of mind that the result will be more than satisfactory.
