Made an appointment for an inspection. They were on time and completed when they should they would.

I had a great recent experience here that I thought was worth sharing. Automotive Specialist is very well known with the local Miata club and I brought my car there for installation and setup of new coilovers, wheels, and tires. Mike was super friendly and patient and helped me get the work quoted and scheduled. All the labor quoted was in-line with my expectations and very reasonable. The day the work finished, I pulled up to the shop in the rain, and my car was out front looking fantastic, but the first thing Mike did was take me over to show me where they had accidentally scratched one of the new wheels. It was minor, and I would not have even noticed until much later (especially in the rain), but Mike was very upfront and insisted that he would pay to buy a replacement wheel and have it put on the car as soon as it came in. I came back a week later with the wheel and a receipt - they were not only good on their word, but I even offered to let them off the hook and pay for the wheel myself, but Mike was insistent and could tell that it would have bothered me otherwise. As for the actual work, Eric did an awesome job, setup the car exactly like I had asked, and I could not be happier with the result! I will be bringing all my cars here from now on.

These guys are my go to guys for all my vehicles and my daughter's. As a clergymen it is good to meet good people who are people of character and integrity. You can't go wrong with Ray,Mike and Auto Spec. You want be disappointed with their work!!!

I took my car here for my brakes they starting grinding a few weeks later then I took it back to have the rest check the brakes they said one of the roaders are bad do they replaced that and now still grinding Aldo my traction light keeps coming on they didn't fix the problem just got the lights to come off on the dash one day later the light s are back on car still slips when it's raining ... they said my rac was bad then another said it wasn't this place is a joke and I will be taking my car somewhere else

My classic Miata (1994, original owner) has been maintained by Ray, Mike and John for ten years now. These guys are honest, fair, and have awesome expertise. Use them.

AutoSpec was amazing to my family and my car. My husband, daughter and I were in Georgetown at the dentist and on the way back home our serpentine belt broke. By God's blessing we were less then a mile from AutoSpec's. We limped into their parking lot and Jim got us in and our belt fixed within a couple hours so we could be on our way back home to Kempner.
