JC Automotive Specialists have been my one and only car shop for the past 13 years when they gave me an honest assessment of faulty engine mounts in my 1 year old Nissan Murano. Instead of charging me to fix it, they worked with the Nissan dealer to explain the situation should be covered under warranty even though I was just outside of the warranty period. They saved me over $1000 on my first visit. They have been my shop for all of my cars since that day. They always treat me fair and don't try to sell me things I don't need. They even offer free rides back to work/home when you drop off/pick-up your vehicle for service. I can't recommend them enough! -Travis

Competent and trustworthy mechanics with fair prices are hard to find, which is exactly why I take my cars here and not the big "chain" type places or "cheaper" alternatives. I started taking my Mazda Miata to the ORIGINAL Automotive Specialists about 10 years ago. I'm a hobbyist racer/ home mechanic and I do most of my own car repairs, but whenever I need expert help I take it here. The place is run by experienced mechanics and their customer service is excellent. You can find places with "cheaper" labor rates but no other shop in the Austin-RoundRock area can compete on the value they offer in terms of doing an excellent job, installing quality parts and doing it with great service. Most recently I took my 2004 Toyota Sequoia to have the AC system inspected ans serviced. It was very affordable, they turned the car around same day and now it blows cold again.
