Auto-Spec is the only place we trust for auto service in the area. They go above and beyond to make us feel like family and provide reliable honest service. Having to deal with auto issues is not a fun thing to do in the first place, thankfully I can rely on them to take care of us and get us back on the road. Thank you!

This business is reliable and honest. Provides superior service! We has used them for over 10 years and my adult children continue to do so as well. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic you can count on for all your vehicle maintenance.

Please read this... John is the best!!! I live north of Dallas and as was driving to South Austin about 10:30pm... and my 2012 Hyundai Sonata Turbo starting make a lot of noises and running horribly. I pulled over and checked into a hotel for the night. The next morning, I searched the web (on Yelp) and picked and called Automotive Specialists in Georgetown. John answered the phone and said he would look at it immediately for me since I was on a long weekend mini vacation . A few minutes later, as I was waiting for the tow truck... John called me back and said that he thought about what I said and the way I described the car noise and ride... So he talked to his best friend who is the service manager at Beasley Hyundai in Kyle... he said that there is a recall on my engine and instead of bringing it to him... take my car to Beasley Hyundai and through this recall by Hyundai... Beasley will be able to put a new engine in my car due to this engine recall!!! So I had it towed 40 miles to Kyle... and they are in the process of getting me a new engine installed! The final approval from Hyundai came through today! So if it were not for John being upright, honest, truthful, smart and helpful... I would not be getting a new engine. He put me first, and for that... Automotive Specialist in Georgetown is the best repair shop I have ever (and not ever) dealt with!!! Jerry PS: My car has 147,000 miles on it!

I'm fortunate that I haven't needed any major work on my old '97, 315K mileage Maxima, since I moved to Round Rock 9 months ago. That being said, it was extremely important to me to find a shop that truly cares about routine maintenance and helps with the small stuff before the bigger problems have a chance. I value a good, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable auto shop as much as (if not more than) I value the same traits in a doctor. My experience so far has convinced me that I've found all of that here. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I learned today about the shuttling service, which took me to work so that I didn't have to call for a Lyft ride - what a gift. Looking forward to bringing our cars here for many years to come, and driving my well-maintained Maxima for at least another 200K miles!

AutoSpec is the best! Honest reliable service and they always treat us like family. We have use them for various things over the years from break light installation on a modified Jeep bumper to Heavy Duty diesel injector issues to new tire installation. Many folks may not realize you can order tires off Tire Rack and have them shipped directly to AutoSpec for professional installation. This was a game changer for our family. No more sitting at at chain tire place all afternoon. (Not to mention better selection at a better price) Thank you J&J for everything. We are lifetime customers!

I'd EASILY come back to this place for any vehicle troubles. My serpentine belt needed to be replaced, and they fixed it for HALF the cost than the dealership offered. Their shuttle program was also reliable, so I was able to make it to work & back while the car was being serviced. They educate you about what may/may not need urgent attention and they never pressure you to purchase anything. Great quality and service.

These guys are as good as it gets. They are honest reliable transparent. In 2010, they fixed my car for 400 when Toyota wanted 856 minimum and potentially more after opening the car. in 2017, they put new brake pads at a good price and after 12 months when there was a issue due to the rotors , I asked them to put in new brake pads as well and charge me for it. They declined to charge me for the new brake pads saying that the older ones were just 1 year old and they don't feel right charging me for them (they had given a 1 year warranty). This was when I was willing to pay and wanted new brake pads for peace of mind and nothing wrong with the ones they put in. They definitely did not need to do that but goes far to show committed they are to make customers happy. I have recommended these guys to several of my friends and will keep on recommending them

I have used Auto Spec on Williams Dr for minor auto needs, including annual safety check. So when the Toyota shop mechanics could not find a reason for my Sequoia's frequent loss of power, I turned to Beth and her wonderful crew for help. Should have gone there in the first place. What impressed me was that Beth asked all the right questions and seemed genuinely interested in the problem. They kept the car for a couple of days and found the problem. The fix was not too expensive. Gave the car a good going over and didn't find anything else. I really appreciated the frequent calls to let me know what was going on and the obvious effort by the staff to fix my car. Kudo's to Auto Spec. From now on, all 3 of my cars will be taken there for any care needed.

This repair shop lives up to its motto, "Building trust through honest, ethnical and thorough workmanship". I drove into my garage last week and my husband noticed a small puddle on the floor near my right front wheel. I put a pan in the area but saw nothing in the morning. I called Auto-Spec Monday and asked if they could check it. While checking the vehicle in I also decided to get an oil change. Later that afternoon I received a call telling me the vehicle was ready for pick up. I inquired as to the "damages" and was told the only cost was the tuneup. I must have run through some oil that splashed on to the underside of my vehicle and that's where the drip came from. These folks could have trumped up all sorts of stuff that would have cost me big money and I would have believed it. AutoSpec is my go to auto mechanic from now on.
