I brought my car here for an alignment after being referred by Driveway Austin. They were able to perform the alignment, to my specs, for a very reasonable price and were able to do it in the time promised so that I could wait nearby and then drive my car home. What really set this place apart was the friendliness of the advisor both over the phone and in person. Every other shop I called seemed like they couldn't be bothered to answer my questions.

After doing some research in the area for auto shops, I was happy to discover Auto-Spec. I love that they have a shuttle service so I can drop my car off in the morning and get it fixed while I'm at work. I only got my state inspection completed, but I was happy with customer service, the waiting area, their responsiveness, and professionalism, and I will consider them for future automotive repairs that I may need. Straight shooting, honest, and very informative. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection (mid February 2018) on a (now my ) 2008 Miata, prioritized the concerns they had as well as details there is no way I would have caught. Recommendations for repairs came with an array of choices based on my budget, and knocked out the inspection in 2 hours flat. Trust is definitely there, I'm upgrading/fixing the suspension and having them do all the work next week. They fielded my several calls and questions on suspension combinations so I knew that what I was getting would fill my needs. Great Service! They are the best around. We have been going to them for years now and they have never tried to take advantage of us. They are always fair and will work with you on breaking down cost or customizing the estimate- to suit your needs. Even when super busy they take their time and help you in a calm, un-rushed manner.

Best Experience ! My car was diagnosed with a cracked flexplate. This is a complex job and my car also had considerable amount of Rust inside the engine components to make it even more difficult. Mike and team did the job so well and also took car of the shudder/vibration that the car was experiencing. They went above & beyond to make sure all issues are addressed and whatever was needed without adding additional charges. This is my go-to shop, from now onwards !

The team at Auto-Spec always go above and beyond in service. I bring my vehicles here for general maintenance as well as the occasional larger issues that may occur. It's hard to find automotive shops that are honest and ethical, but these guys strive to implement it into everything they do. They take care of your vehicle effectively and efficiently. They also provide a courtesy shuttle, which is nice in the event you don't want to wait. This will definitely be my shop for many years to come.

I have my fully synthetic oil and filter changed every 10,000 miles on my 2015 Lexus RX350. AutoSpec charges around $100 for this service and also advises anything else that could be done, but they don't pressure me into doing it with them or any certain time. Tire rotation as well is great at around $20. People that cannot see the value here shouldn't go out in public in my opinion....just saying....if you are a FIP or PIP, better go somewhere else.... By the way, Lexus in Austin charges $275 for oil and service every 10,000 miles....they do have good scones, muffins and lattes, but, all in all, I spend $100 and buy my own fancy carbs...LOL! I was greeted quickly when I arrived. I checked in & requested a vehicle inspection. There were 3-4 other people in the waiting room so I didn't know how long I'd have to wait. The waiting room was comfortable with plenty of seats should they get busy. My car was finished within 30 minutes. I was surprised at how quickly & thoroughly they worked. I live about 30 mins away from Auto-Spec but chose to have my car inspection done there due to the reviews. I'm glad I did!
