I dropped off two cars for inspections and a windshield wiper problem. I had no appointment but they squeezed me in. The service was friendly and efficient.
Nice place. Friendly staff. Nice waiting room w/coffee, tea, hot choc. Had 9am appt for inspection. They were late in starting on it, so I was there 35 min, but the waiting room was so nice, I didn't mind much. Will be back.
Friendly staff. Nice waiting room w/coffee, tea, hot choc. Had 9am appt. They didn't get to my car until 9:20. Took car there for whining noise. Called and said they think it's the tire, and that I should take it to a tire place. Also said battery was a problem and it would be $300 to replace. We have had no indication that the battery was a problem. Were about to leave town so we decided to wait until we got back to deal with it. Paid the $50 diagnostic fee and picked it up which took a long time. They guy couldn't seem to find the keys. Went to start it the next day and it hesitated and said low battery. No prior indication of battery issues before they worked on it. When we got back in town I opened the hood and found that they had left a paper towel next to the battery and didn't put the wire cover back on the positive terminal. Sloppy.
I had to get a starter put in for my 2006 Honda Civic. It was a bit pricey but staff was nice and informative. Will use them again.
For years I have used Automotive Specialist. They are honest, pretty quick with repairs and at a fair cost to do the work. I have been at other shops that tell me I need lots of work, but come here and it’s usually a simple fix at a much lower cost because it’s not multiple items being replaced. These guys are amazing, I've been taking all my cars to them for years. Now I drive a Tesla Model 3 and I still take my vehicle here for yearly inspections. It was crazy fast! They are the best. They are always busy which shows how good they are so make sure to make an appointment first and be early to find a parking spot.
