I was a bit disappointed. The oil change was fine, but I could have done that myself or taken it anywhere. I was looking for advice/recommendations for a new-to-me Miata and AutoSpec are the experts. The “inspection” simply resulted in a recommendation to get new wiper blades. I was left wondering if I should replace my 11 year old radiator reservoir - I guess I’ll recheck for advice on the internet.

the inspection on your car showed it was up to date and well serviced, very nice car. If the tank was showing discolored or signs that it was going bad (which a lot do) we would recommend an upgraded one. yours looked good at the time of inspect. We love talking Miata here, and are happy to answer any questions.

No stars! Two hours to complete a simple oil change is ridiculous. Don’t bother me with any more apologies. Christian Brothers just gained a new customer and you yak-artists just lost one. And I dare you to publish this review.

You can get a hamburger at McDonalds or you can get a hamburger at a steak house. McDonalds is fast and cheap, Its cooked one way ,you can sit on some plastic seats and try and enjoy your meal. But it wont be very good. The steak house will seat you a a nice table, a wait staff will come take your order and cook your burger the way you like it and bring it to the table and follow up to make sure the meal was to your liking. This will take longer and cost more. We don't just change your oil and send you down the road at Auto-Spec we do a complete check of your car make necessary adjustments, top off all fluids, inspect all safety items do a 30 point inspection. We will keep a clean and comfortable waiting room or a shuttle ride to your home and then a ride back when we are done with your car. Proper maintenance of your car will get you long trouble free years of service. We believe that taking the time to service your vehicle is time well spent and some take longer then others. Your BMW is one of the cars that has a lot of items to be inspected and is expensive enough to take the time and do the service properly. It sounds to me like you're looking for a McDonalds and a proper service of your car is not important to you. Thank you for your input

My experience was excellent. They took the time to explain what was needed and when (brakes didn’t need pads replaced at this time but will in a few months). Also educated me on what type of rotors I needed since I drive a lifted Jeep with larger tires/rims and my Jeep has stock equipment. They provided transportation to my home when I dropped off my vehicle and offered to pick me up when it was ready. Top notch staff and excellent communication and customer service!! Would highly recommend!

I have been using Auto-Spec for a couple years now and my experience has always been great from customer service in the front office, Lewis has been excellent in communicating what’s needed and giving reasonable quotes in a timely manner. The mechanic had a hiccup once and when I towed my car back to them, they we very honest and owned up to their mistake and fixed the problem and offered a free oil change on my next visit. I like the fact that they are honest and I can count on them.

Went out of their way to find the problem. They replaced battery under warranty from some other company and handled the exchange. When I picked up car there was no charge. I wouldn't except that. That was truly above and beyond.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys. My sister, niece and nephew all used them and told me they were really good and just as important, honest. So I drove up from South Austin to use them when my car was doing pretty bad. They did not disappoint! Went truly above and beyond what needed to be done. I had to remind myself this was the same car I dropped off, I mean it was that good.
