Auto Spec in round rock is absolutely the best and most honest mechanic shop that I have ever known. Been using them since I moved to Texas 6 yrs ago. I no longer live right around the corner but still make the trip(and pass 500 auto shops on the way) to see them when I need repairs. They have drummed up a lot of business and loyal customers like me over the years so be prepared to wait your turn in line. I don’t take my car anywhere else unless I’m traveling and absolutely have to !

Ray at Auto-Spec has been nothing but the direct truth. Finding a good HONEST mechanic is rare these day but with these guys it’s nothing but good old fashion morals and principles combined with excellent service.

I had to get a starter put in for my 2006 Honda Civic. It was a bit pricey but staff was nice and informative. Will use them again.

For years I have used Automotive Specialist. They are honest, pretty quick with repairs and at a fair cost to do the work. I have been at other shops that tell me I need lots of work, but come here and it’s usually a simple fix at a much lower cost because it’s not multiple items being replaced. You will be highly satisfied with Automotive Specialist, guaranteed.

These guys are amazing, I've been taking all my cars to them for years. Now I drive a Tesla Model 3 and I still take my vehicle here for yearly inspections. It was crazy fast! They are the best. They are always busy which shows how good they are so make sure to make an appointment first and be early to find a parking spot.

Mike explained all steps that would be needed to repair my vehicle before they started. He quoted a repair price and stuck to it. If you drive an older model vehicle consider Automotive Specialist.
