I have a small used car lot and use these guys whenever I have a hard to solve problem. I drive 45 miles because they are clean courteous and they fix the car on the first trip. Great little business!

I found these guys when I was in an accident right down the road from them. They helped me set everything up and got me back up and running quick. I wanted to get my PT Cruiser up and running and they helped me with the tow and made everything easy to take care of at their shop. I got the car back much sooner then I was expecting and Mike has always taken great care of us. 100% I give them my vote of confidence. I will always take my cars to them.

I work with automotive repair facilities daily in my job, and I can tell you that this place is a rare breed. They are a unicorn in the auto repair world. Honest, quality work and reasonably priced. I've had multiple experiences with these guys and they always deliver. They're knowledgeable, helpful and honest. I've never left there feeling cheated or pressured, and you always get a sense that they have your best interest in mind.

I've visited plenty of time and I'm very happy with these guys, they make me feel welcomed and they are honest. I'll be going to Automotive Specialist for now on, for any car trouble I may have.

I've been coming to these guys since 2006 for all of my car needs. Everything from oil changes and standard maintenance, to that time after a state inspection at another place, where I was told I had a "broken axle". In my defense,JC did not offer state inspections at the time. I did not have a broken axle. JC and crew showed me what I had broken and explained that had I paid to get a new one, the actual broken part would still be broken. This shop is honest. That's a huge part of their reputation. I have sent my friends here who have gone on to recommend the shop to their friends.

I brought my car here for an alignment after being referred by Driveway Austin. They were able to perform the alignment, to my specs, for a very reasonable price and were able to do it in the time promised so that I could wait nearby and then drive my car home. What really set this place apart was the friendliness of the advisor both over the phone and in person. Every other shop I called seemed like they couldn't be bothered to answer my questions.

After doing some research in the area for auto shops, I was happy to discover Auto-Spec. I love that they have a shuttle service so I can drop my car off in the morning and get it fixed while I'm at work. I only got my state inspection completed, but I was happy with customer service, the waiting area, their responsiveness, and professionalism, and I will consider them for future automotive repairs that I may need. Straight shooting, honest, and very informative. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection (mid February 2018) on a (now my ) 2008 Miata, prioritized the concerns they had as well as details there is no way I would have caught. Recommendations for repairs came with an array of choices based on my budget, and knocked out the inspection in 2 hours flat. Trust is definitely there, I'm upgrading/fixing the suspension and having them do all the work next week. They fielded my several calls and questions on suspension combinations so I knew that what I was getting would fill my needs.
