Brought my Xterra in with an alternator light indicator. I had tested the alternator output with my voltmeter prior to taking vehicle in. The voltmeter indicated normal output from alternator, but, decided to give Auto Spec a shot thinking it could be something above my paygrade of expertise. Vehicle was dropped off late afternoon on Thursday. Was told by the friendly desk person that I would receive a call the next day with a diagnosis and estimate. Received a call the next afternoon from the same friendly desk person stating they had checked the alternator and it was functioning normally, but, the check engine light was on with an error code reading a malfunction from the mass air flow sensor. She said the mass air flow sensor looked to have recently been replaced, so, the mechanic didn't think this was an issue. Reset error codes and asked me to pick it up and drive it for awhile to see if error codes come back on. No charge! Also stated I had a headlamp out. I asked them to replace headlamp. Friendly desk person called me back within 20 minutes and said vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick up vehicle and went inside to pay for my headlamp. Friendly desk person said there was no charge since they couldn't find anything wrong. I was floored. One almost never finds this kind of honesty and superb customer service in this day of big box stores and rush to grab the almighty dollar. It's refreshing to find a local business who understands the impotance of honesty and great customer service. They definately earned my repeat business! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Oh, if the owner reads this, your front desk girl definately deserves a raise!

I have my fully synthetic oil and filter changed every 10,000 miles on my 2015 Lexus RX350. AutoSpec charges around $100 for this service and also advises anything else that could be done, but they don't pressure me into doing it with them or any certain time. Tire rotation as well is great at around $20. People that cannot see the value here shouldn't go out in public in my opinion....just saying....if you are a FIP or PIP, better go somewhere else.... By the way, Lexus in Austin charges $275 for oil and service every 10,000 miles....they do have good scones, muffins and lattes, but, all in all, I spend $100 and buy my own fancy carbs...LOL! I was greeted quickly when I arrived. I checked in & requested a vehicle inspection. There were 3-4 other people in the waiting room so I didn't know how long I'd have to wait. The waiting room was comfortable with plenty of seats should they get busy. My car was finished within 30 minutes. I was surprised at how quickly & thoroughly they worked. I live about 30 mins away from Auto-Spec but chose to have my car inspection done there due to the reviews. I'm glad I did!
